Glacial Layers PB No.1

Glacial Layers is No. 1 in a series inspired by David Attenborough's documentary on the nine planetary boundaries that allow Earth to remain a stable, living system. The layers of paint are applied using the fluid pouring technique, where paint and water find their own path across the canvas — the resulting structure is therefore unique and unrepeatable. The icy layer sinks into depths of blue and turquoise, a view from above of a place where something is slowly changing. A painting about a boundary that may still be holding.
